Warwick, New York - Birders use binoculars to view migrating hawks on the viewing platform at the Mount Peter Hawk Trailway on Sept. 15, 2012. The area is located on a high point along the Bellvale Mountain Ridge and is the third oldest hawk watch in the country. Records of migrating raptor species and their populations passing through the area have been kept for over 50 years.
